A specialist in remedial education and learner support, with a doctorate in remedial education dedicated to helping learners who experience barriers to learning.

Her passion for teaching began at just twelve years old, teaching literacy to adult women in her community. Three decades in education and eight years of focused research later, that same mission drives her work. Her doctoral qualification is internationally recognised — including in Germany, where her book is also published in German.
